Still working on the Pull Isa - I checked and the measurements should be ok - well I fit into it, it is fitted, but that is what I wanted, and blocking may help as well.
I have a project (yes another one) on the go that involves pride and prejudice, and I thought it might an opportunity to actually read the book - and get better acquainted with Mr Darcy - and provide the best excuse to watch Colin Firth in a wet shirt - link here...
Multiple of 4+2
Row 1: K1 *YO, K1, YO, SL 1, K2tog, PSSO* K1
Rows 2 and 4: Purl all stitches
Row 3: K1 *SL 1, K2tog, PSSO, YO, K1, YO* K1
Repeat these four rows for the pattern. Easy right!
I like seeing what you are reading while knitting. I know you are a lifelong knitter, and have more practice, but I can't wait to be able to do it too. I can even mess up stockinette if I try to read, ha!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Pride and Prejudice. I watched the movies before reading the book, but finally read it a couple years ago. I think because I loved the movies so much it was a little easier to read such old writing. I was just thinking yesterday that I should read it again, maybe this afternoon I will start :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the confetti stitch explanation!
ReplyDeleteNice mug and cute little stitch markers too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing how to confetti stitch...it's new to me.
Happy knitting,
Deb
That is such a nice stitch - thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm also reading Pride and Prejudice -- great summer reading. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool stitch! I'd love to try it.
ReplyDeleteI love Pride and Prejudice, but I've only watched the movie with Keira Knightley... I'm intrigued to watch Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy.
Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books.
ReplyDeleteI love this project. Is it only in French?
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the Colin Firth version. I saw the P&P movie with Keira Knightley before reading the book. I liked the movie so much more, maybe b/c during their time their conversations were so darn wordy and I thought I talked a lot, LOL. I think I need to listen to the audio book.
Love the book and the movie! Enjoy your lovely knitting.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm Mr. Darcy...
ReplyDeleteLovely of course!
ReplyDeleteI love Colin Firth. And Jane Austen. And that yarn. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat stitch looks interesting!
ReplyDeleteYour stitching looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to not fall in love with Colin Firth as Mr Darcy. Hope you're enjoying the book. :)
