I was not meant to post today but I have a new knitting gadget - and one that is going to help me save LOADS of time - and I had to share. I used to be scared of buying skeins of yarn rather than balls (although it never actually stopped me) - but this is it! I can now make cakes in 1 minute 45 seconds. Yes, I have timed myself!
I will be able to stack these little ones up and have an organised hobby space!
Below is the one I bought. There is nothing fancy to it - all manual. Cost me £17.50 on Ebay (from the UK), totally worth it.
So I suppose I have no excuse to get on with a project that I talked about back in August... Hmmm clearly still avoiding making a knitted garment for myself. No excuse now, all cakes are made and waiting to be knitted!
(Edit 16/01/2013) Following Tanya's comment, I thought I should add that I use a yarn swift as well, it probably explains the time.
