Knitting from a Kit? | Wool and the Gang {Knitting}

Who you have thought that one day I would be knitting from a kit - including pattern, needles and wool? Not a lot of room for change, a bit strange for me. But when it comes down to it, I was just curious about the concept behind Wool and the Gang - especially after London Fashion Show.

So far it is pretty straightforward. I had to make my mark and changed the stitch used, but nothing much really. I chose the Little Giants top - and I love the colour (Forest Green) - I am really happy I spent time working out what it would look like. Knitting with 15 mm needles goes fast but I must admit is a bit awkward. 

At this stage I am slightly worried that I was not ask to knit a gauge (even though I don't always knit one, but it may be good for the fit of the top), and that the fabric may be too dense to wear - it is taking yarn chunkiness to another level. 

I am really curious to see how this is going to turn out. I may add that the kit is a bit pricey but would make a lovely present for someone who would like to get into knitting. I am wondering if you will see this finished as a top or something else - I will definitely use this yarn for a project!

Have you ever knitted from a kit? From WATG or other suppliers? Would you consider it?
