Soon to be on my needles {knitting}

Tuesday, 19 November 2013

Patterns were chosen, yarn was sourced from my stash and shops - and I am ready to get knitted christmas and birthday presents.

Impressive! I am clearly in denial about going back to work on Thursday. I may have to get over my dislike of knitting in public!

Here is the matching between the yarn and the projects. I will add links to more detailed post when I get to finalise them.

I have my work cut out! Tomorrow I will share my sewing list! It is all about the handmade this year! What is on your handmade list?

  1. Gosh! You have some fabulous projects planned! I especially love the two hats. Sadly this year I won't be making as many presents as I would normally as I am busy knitting and crocheting away for a craft fair at the beginning of Dec. Can't wait to see how your projects turn :-)

  5. Not really Christmas gifts, but baby gifts due before and after Christmas. 2 baby hats before, 1 baby sweater and baby blanket/sac after. A headband for DD who is in school further north than we to match the cowl I made recently. And likely a cowl or two thrown in at the last minute. LOL!

  8. the fox hat is brill, and the shawl is gorgeous, looks very time consuming to knit though. Do you knit in your sleep? I do! I also read books in my sleep. Does that make me a bit weird? Good luck back to work.

  15. This assortment of cheap prom dresses and semi-formal party dresses is perfect for the savvy fashionista. Slip into a beautiful discount designer evening gown for prom, a black-tie event, formal or pageant. A long evening dress for prom with lace sleeves, an illusion open back, and a plunging v-neckline will paint a picture of poise and grace as you glide across the dance floor.
